Power cord works on another laptop. Battery also works on another laptop. No indicator lights or anything. Completely dead. Any suggestions? Do the power cord cable and battery interface both run to the mother board suggesting that the motherboard is at fault? Thanks...

It might be the motherboard, or it could be the monitor itself. If you have a additional monitor, plug it in to see. However, if you say that there are no indications at all and you don't hear the fans winding up even, then there is a good chance that it's simply dead.

Can't really do much else without actually troubleshooting the computer and testing components. If you got further questions, let me know. If not, don't forget to select a solution.
