Hey,

My latest 4.5 year old laptop got a broken graphics card and I am in need of a new one. I'm used to running games such as LoL (high), Borderlands 2, Dishonored and Overwatch on low-high graphics. I am not planning to play games such as GTA V, Watch Dogs 2 or other newer games. Is the one mentioned in title suitable, or should I get an another one? Suggestions can be made, if the company ships to Europe. All I need is a HDD for some extra space.

If you can wait until the Acer E5-576G-5762 is back in stock at Amazon, then I recommend that you wait. It has an 8th generation Intel quad core i5-8250u CPU with an nVidia mx150 and a 256GB SSD. The mx150's performance is between the GTX 950m and GTX 960m which far exceeds your old laptop and all the other laptops you are currently considering.

In the "Ship To" drop down list you can select Finland. Once selected you will see that the cost of the laptop will be $600 + $190 for shipping and import fee; a total of $790 USD. When converted to Euros at the current exchange rate it basically...
Sorry, I forgot to mention that! The GPU was AMD Radeon HD 7670M, which completely met my needs. The laptop was HP ENVY m6-1253eo. The CPU is worse in the Y004NO, I think, but how much?

The problem is, that in Finland the laptops usually have either integrated graphics card of an SSD, and getting more expensive models skyrockets in price. My budget is around €700, if you please could help me finding a similiar one.

What do you think of HP 17-Y005NO? It has better CPU and costs €130 more. It's €729 by then, and my budget can stretch that much. I'll visit local store tomorrow to see what they have to offer, too.

What do you think about the HP Pavilion 15-ab171no? It has AMD A10-8780P (2 GHz, up to 3.3 GHz) quad-core processor and a Radeon R7 360M. How does the turbo boost up to 3.3 GHz work in AMDs?

If you cannot wait for the laptop, then the next best thing would the following Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-57D4 which works out to €620 when the total cost is converted to Euros.

It is certainly less expensive but it is also significantly less powerful than the laptop I recommended above. Though it is still more powerful than what you are looking at currently. It has a 7th generation dual core Intel i5-7200u CPU. It has a nVidia 940mx which is better than the graphic chips / cores in the other laptops you are looking at.

The Acer laptop with the i5-8250 and mx150 costs a little more than 8% vs the Acer laptop with the i5-7200u and nVidia 940mx. However, assuming you use programs that can make use of 4 cores, the i5-8250 provides around a 35% to 40% overall improvement in performance. As for a comparison between the nVidia 940m and mx150, the mx150 provides anywhere from 30% to 100% better performance depending on the game and resolution.
