hp 620 batteey not charging

Solution
Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by removing the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button.
- Next is to boot the laptop without the battery connected, once the laptop has booted in the desktop screen put the battery back in and see if it would charge as normal.
- If these doesn't work try to uninstall/reinstall "microsoft acpi-compliant control method battery" from Device Manager.
- Once you've uninstall that driver reboot your laptop then test it again.
- Next is to test your AC adapter if it's supplying enough voltage to charge the battery or better yet try another AC adapter that has the same voltage.
- If it still will not charge you'll need to replace the battery...
