I downloaded and installed the bios driver, the one in the list from this thread and my computer automatically bluescreens with error saying "a device driver attempting to corrupt the system has been caught. The faulty driver on the kernel stack must be replaced with a working version"

The current BIOS is:
brand: Insyde
Version: F.39
Date: 13/05/2014

I've tested ram, a hdd, cleaned all the dust out, made sure everything thing is connected properly and even formatted and updated all the drivers. Should I look for a cheap CPU replacement on ebay? The laptop is old 2012 i think. Thanks for your help

This hasnt been updated yet has it?? With SP1 and the rest of the updates?

It looks like your Atheros wireless drivers can also cause this crash. I would see if there's an update for them. If you use it

It's possible your Intel video drivers are causing it too

Go to their entries in device manager / driver tab / update driver. See if windowsupdate installs an updated driver

So I am struggling to download and install the updates after SP1 because the bluescreens keep happening. I disabled both the atheros wireless driver and also the graphics; still bsods then i even deleted both drivers and still bsods, the latest driver for the wireless before i uninstalled the atheros was the latest on the website and the intel graphics was updated through windows and that driver was 26/05/2015 version 9.17.10.4229,
