HP 9470m laptop

My HP 9470m was charging great, 7+ hours. Then suddenly said plugged in not charging. The next day I tried and it started charging, BUT now only shows 2+ hours. I'm using windows 10 professional Is there any way of fixing this?

1. Update the BIOS of the unit first and observe.
2. If BIOS update doesn't resolve, try a different charger and observe.
3. If issue is not resolved, then you will need to replace battery of the unit to resolve issue.
