HP Compaq 6730s - PLEASE HELP!

I just got this. I turned it on, it worked. I turned it off and back on it worked.
I turned it off again now, I get the HP Screen which says "PRESS ESC FOR STARTUP MENU".

If you press nothing it goes to a black screen with a flashing grey _ in the top left corner.
How can I get this to boot back up, or factory restore it?

Sound like something wrong with the HDD. could be connection or it failing/failed
