Hp DV5 1235dx do not power up

Hi! i have a problem with my laptop. I cant make it power up. Removed battery and connected to the ace adapter and nothing. Not even the leds. Just the power adaptor jack led.

I did all the steps that hp suggest, but nothing.

I think I need to change some component on the motherboard, do anyone knows wich one?

If your getting a a light on the power port then try an atx reset.

This is done by removing the battery and power cable from the laptop , holding down the power button for 15 seconds( you will see nothing happen) then release. . Plug your charger in and see if it helped..

If still no power try another power supply.

Then if atill.not working the main board is the fault
