hp dv6700 keyboard

is there a way i can turn off the keyboard on the laptop with out taking it apart its missing some keys and one is stuck now and i cant really use it anymore i bought a usb kb but it still types by itself

just disconnect the keyboard, it is really simple:

Disconnect the power
Take out the battery
open the memory compartment
now follow this doc starting at step 5
