Question HP EliteBook won't let me update BIOS and doing weird things on boot.

I recently bought an HP EliteBook x360 830 G7 (second hand, probably thats part of the problem) and it's working flawlessly when windows has started up but before that is doing really weird things...

On boot it shows the messages:
warning: Your system is not fully configured. Please contact HP customer support.
warning: This BIOS is not for production use.
warning: This HP Endpoint Security Controller firmware is Not for production use.

I've been trying to update the BIOS (I've tried a lot of methods) to get rid of those messages but whenever I click on update the computer just restarts 3 times and then boots to windows like nothing happened.

Also, while booting between the HP loading screen and the sign in for Windows 10, the screen turns black for about 2 minutes.

I really hope someone can help me to fix all of this. Thanks in advance!

Here is some info about the laptop and screenshots of the issues:

Have you tried to work with HP customer support? BIOS software is not something you are likely to get help with from any other source. It's pretty specialized and for most of us "just works". Very odd messages.
I posted the same question on HP Support Community but they haven't replied yet.
