HP Envy 15t-j000 Quad Edition or HP Envy 15z-j000?

So I am planning to buy a new laptop for college and I want it to be able to run games at decent graphics well. I found the HP Envy 15 series and it suited my wants but I am not sure which one to get, the 15t-j000 Quad Edition or the 15z-j000. Which laptop will give me better performance and/or more bang for my buck?

With such similar specs youre pretty much asking which is the better graphics card. I assume you're a gamer so I really want to say the15z-j000 due to the radeon hd 8750m. The two graphics cards are very similar in performance but the gt740m beats by barely anything in RAW performance. You see amd right now is rolling out amd catalyst mobility drivers which boost the graphics card's performance by a LOT. I am talking about skyrim going from high quality 30 fps to ultra quality 40 fps. I can run BF4 on ultra as well at 25-35 fps. I would know since my laptop i'm typing this with is the acer aspire v5-552g-x414 and it has same graphics card for $599.99 and pretty much same processor. Remember that you may have 1080p screen but your games won't run well on such a high resolution so yo'll end up going either 1366x768 or 1600x900. Nvidia's geforce drivers atm don't boost performance very much so that's why I would pick the 15z- j000. Also the hybrid hard drive makes it boot faster than the quad edition laptop. In processor terms the amd processor loses by quite a lot to the intel 4700mq and other areas as well so that is a setback. If you really want to game with this though i can say confidently that the 5750m will still be efficient enough to run most if not all games, the real thing that matters is the gpu.

For gaming your choice would be the 15z- j000.

go for the second one it has way better cpu and slightly better gpu

I am going to be using this laptop for gaming but also for college. I need it to be running programming software and rendering software as well so, I don't know which is better for these types of things. Thanks for the answer by the way!
