I recently just bought a HP Pavilion G7 from a frienda a week ago. Here are the specs from what I remember. 6gb of RAM-64bit. Here is my problem I'm not really familiar with laptops so I asked my brother if I could just flip the screen down and not have to turn it off. He said I could what he didn't tell me was that I could only do that for short periods oft time. So Yesterday I just flipped the screen down and left it like that for the entire day, which completely drained the battery and when I flipped it back up it responded ok. It turned on but on the bottom right it gave a warning stating it had 0% of battery so I tried plugging it in to the wall charger. And the charging light didn't even come on. So now whenever I try to turn it on and press the power key the only thing that reacts are 2 lights on the side and they blink twice, but the screen won't turn on.
What I'm thinking is that it isn't a internal problem like the motherboard or any thing like that since right before it went down the laptop turned on fine and responded well, and even now when I press the power key the light on the side respond. But I think it might be the battery since it won't even hold a charge and right before it turned off the battery was at 0% and since then then it hasn't been able to charge.
I'd like to hear your opinions please?
PS. Sorry for any bad grammar I'm typing this on my phone.
