I have an HP 15-f233wm. I did a Windows 10 update and after the computer rebooted I went to open a folder and got blue screen of death. Another reboot later and I got a SMART error for hdd not detected. I installed a new hdd and it wouldn't turn on. I found out I had broken a soldered connection of the ribbon cable to the power button board. I ordered a new switch and installed it. The first time I put the battery in it after the switch replacement it automatically came on and lights on the right side on the laptop lit up but saw nothing else. I have not re-installed the screws except for the one that holds the power button in. I have tried many times to reposition the cable to no avail. Can you help me?
