HP laptop won't boot

I have an HP laptop which won't boot. Sometimes the HP invent screen comes up sometimes it doesn't.
It shows press <ESC> for options at the bottom. But the keyboard doesn't respond. Cannot enter the bios. Cannot choose boot device. Cannot boot from CD or USB stick.
Have held down the ESC or F10 key on boot and it just sits there.

Any ideas.

Have tried hard reset.
Have tried hard reset and boot with both battery and AC.
Have tried hard reset and boot with just AC.
Have tried bios reset by disconnecting the bios battery.
Have tried another power cord.
Have tried other memory modules.

Can you provide your model of notebook? Have you contacted HP regarding this issue?

Press <ESC> and press <F9> takes to boot options, <F10> takes to boot menu (or) BIOS Settings
