Yesterday I turned on my laptop and it asked me to restore the computer to a previous state that worked. So I clicked ok, and now the computer won't turn on, no sound or anything. There is no light to show that the laptop is being charged either. The only thing I hear is a constant beep every second that sounds like a faint digital watch or something, this only occurs when the ac charger is plugged in. I have an hp pavilion dv6 by the way. Any help on how to turn the computer on would be great!

That constant beep your referring to , is it Bios POST code ? if something goes wrong bios will tell you through codes, known as bios post code , which should either be a pattern of sound or lighting on the keyboard . Specify your laptop model, or do a search on what does that pattern of constant beep mean ?
Maybe this site could help :
