HP Laptop won't turn on..

Well, the title says it all but my HP pavilion touchscreen will not turn on... I took the battery out and did a factory reset but nothing...... It once turned on for about 3 seconds and it had like a black FBD error screen or something like that, then turned back off (only did it once will not turn on anymore) . When the charger is in it doesn't show any flashing lights. Please help

Have you tried turning the laptop on with the battery out and the power cable in?
