HP Pavilion g6 2228tx won't turn on

Greetings,

I have a HP Pavilion g6 2228tx, and it wouldn't turn on one day.

I pushed the power button, and the power button LED flashes once but nothing else. No screen, no fan, no HDD sound, no BIOS, nothing.

When AC adapter is plugged in, the charging LED is lit.


What I have done so far,

1. Hard reset. --> battery out, held power button for a min, plug in AC, no battery, try to power up but nothing.

2. Tried to boot with only one stick of RAM with both sticks, still nothing.

3. Tried different outlets and AC adapters, nothing

I know only 3 things to fix this and you did all XD ,Sounds pretty dead to me.For example my HP laptop would not turn on at all like yours just Caps Locks led blinks 3 times and fan start to hyper ventilating.
What i did is moved RAM from one slot to another and it worked , it was some memory problem.

Yeah, no idea what happened. Laptop is right under 3 years old and rarely used. Never dropped it and always used on a fan cooling pad.

I will try to reseat the the HDD and see if anything changes.

Going with ACER/Asus next time.
