Solved! Hp pavilion laptop touchpad and keyboard is not working

Hp pavilion laptop touchpad and keyboard is not working I cant enter my password on the lockscreen my enter key and arrow keys work only when I restarted and the windows recovery screen comes up I've tried safe mode, taking my battery out unplugging holding down the power key for 10 seconds everything. I wa as updating when a Notification popped up from windows defender saying I needed to run a check so I did there was 1 Thing the texted it told me to clean now so I clicked clean now then it told me I needed to restart the computer I restarted it whenever I turned it back on my touch pad in my keypad will not work but when I restarted again the recovery screen popped up in is said to hit in are to start windows normally or inner to safe mode extend euro my arrow key in my inner key was working then but it will not let me move my arrow to enter password to unlock my screen....?????? PLEASE HELPPPPP

Plug in a USB keyboard and mouse, use that to login. After that you can see if things work in Windows once that loads.
