Hp Pavilion zv6000 need help

Hey guys i just resently got a Hp pavilion zv6000 lap top it has a few problems

first of all the mouse pad doenst work

second i cannot boot from a cd

and third i cannot install audio drivers on it

its has a 60 gb hardrive

128mb graphics card by ati

i got all the neccecery drivers for it that it neeeds but i really need to know

how to boot up form cd

so i can reinstall windows xp hoping it would fix my audio driver problem

but i also need to know how to fix the mouse pad

Any Clues?/

There's a whole list of down loadable drivers on hp's website I been throught that before on a fresh install when I got zv6000 for free with no drivers. One being the pointing device and others being hotkeys and so forth good luck.
