Dell Inspiron has a better Graphics card, and any manufacturer is generally better than HP. xD

In this case:
HP has a 7200rpm HDD
Dell has a marginally better GPU

since both have the same generation AMD GPU, you will hardly notice any difference. The faster HDD on the other hand will definately speed up your work.

@HPdreak: Dunno if that was sarcasm.
HP's business models are generally the best and most reliable notebooks, which are truly focussed at being build for a business market. Without the features that are only meant for consumers.
If you look at service and warranty, any manufacturer is actually better that Dell. Keep in mind that I am only talking about the business models here, which have a different 24h helpdesk, Native english-speaking staff, good technical understanding and they send you the specific part you need by courrier so you recieve it within 24hours (including a return sticker on the box, for the broken part). No need to pay for shipping cost, or sending in your own machine.

I have worked mostly with HP, Toshiba, Fujitsu, Asus, IBM, Sony & Dell over the years. HP always wins when it comes to service and is in the top 3 in reliability. Acer & Dell are generally the cheapest, but give the most hardware problems and worst service. Sony & Acer for instance always ask you to send back the machine itself, after which you lose it for >3 weeks.
