Hp windows 8 cracked screen attempting to connect to tv

I have a Windows 8 connected to my TV but it's not displaying on the tv

Assuming you're using a HDMI cable to connect the two, the TV needs to be told to display the PC instead of the usual service it provides rom your set top bo.

Settings could be anywhere but if you have an Input button on the remote, try that.
