htd5540 sound question

Hey guys, basically I'm sick of running my 5.1 creative speakers for my tv and xbox through my pc, pc is always on due to this so I've been looking at this set of home theatre speakers

I'm not sure though because I want to be able to turn the unit on, and hear my xbox one when I'm playing, and also the pc when I use it, is this possible and how would this work, my tv that I have is this

I'm looking to get from argos as I have a card with them, so if this particular one is no good, feel free to point out any other from argos

The home theater in a box that you link to has only one input - optical audio. If you can find one with two inputs (would be unusual) that would work. Your TV does have optical audio out so if you connect the PC and Xbox to the TV with HDMI you can feed the HTiB from the TV.
If this TV is not your PC monitor then you would have to add an optical audio switch such as this

Thanks mate, hmm I see, I'm a total new when it comes to sound honestly, I do have my tv as a monitor, and my xbox is using hdmi also, as well as the pc, hdmi via graphics card etc, so am I able to instead have the htib cables plugged into my tv, instead of the dvd player? I've checked the other argos items and couldn't see any with 2 parts.
