hts6600 audio problem

Hello there everyone! I own an hts6600 and recently i have a problem reproducing external audio through it. While dvd and radio play alright any audio out from TV, portable mp3 player or even through start connection is not coming through with any sound at all. Any suggestions? It doesn't make any sense, I don't think that all 3 different hubs can have a problem and this should not be a problem of the systems audio card whatsoever since dvd and radio are working fine. Theo, if external sources were working and suddenly stopped working, then this would point to the internal controller of the main unit being broken.

It could very well be on its own board, hence the unit functions like DVD player and radio still working, but the external functions have stopped working.

I'd be contacting Philips and trying to find a nearby service centre.
