If someone calls you, can you hear the ringtone? Have you tried pressing the Volume Up button on the side of the phone?

Yes i have tried doing that... i pressed the volume button but i can only hear them when i am using a earpiece....n my phone wont vibrate or ring even if the volume is to it maximum level...

I think you'll have to leave the earpiece out until you answer the call. Somehow, the system can't give you alerts you can hear through the earpiece. Either that or the connection isn't beng made properly. Make sure the earpiece plug is as far inside the socket as it can go.
