I recently purchased the Cloud 2 headset and noticed a faint static when nothing is being played. That static gets worse when there is any kind of audio. Also when the volume is very low everything becomes distorted and crackly like a bad radio. Using the USB dongle and the jack produces the static. However, there was no static when I plugged the headset into an iPod.
I contacted Kingston and got a replacement, but the static is still there. Is this a problem with my computer or am I getting unlucky with this headset? I have a Logitech G930 that also uses a USB and it never made any kind of static.
