I think you're maybe being to slow to catch up with plot problems. For example, it's too late to notice problems with GOT by season 8. It was clear Daenerys would become the villain by season 5. It's not that she turned too fast, they just didn't execute properly, all through seasons 5 - 8, 6 and 7 especially, with horrendous plot points. Similarly, Westworld 3, you said was still enjoyable (or something), well, it got very noticeably derailed that season. Our worst fears were already confirmed by then.

I agree with you completely. I'm seeing this as getting back to the intrigue and mystery that surrounded season one. I can't wait to see the next episode and to find out how all the separate plot lines come together. This article feels like complaining for the sake of it to me. Or like judging a books ending when you're only half way through. Also did you miss that Hale is mostly a host now aka Delores? Hence why she has become who she is now.
