It has 27w charging which is more than the 25w charging from some Samsung phones you cited in your essay. Apple's website shows 50% charge in 30 minutes. Fast charging really isn't healthy for your batteries anyway. I find the charging speeds ample for my use, if I need it I just throw a MagSafe battery pack on it.

It wasn’t an issue with every phone, but yes 17.0.3 did address the issue for the people that were experiencing it.
