Hello,

The laptop is overheating a lot so I watched dissemble video and noticed that one of the chips (I believe the GPU) is not covered and is not touching the heatpipe going over it. There is a small part missing on it, can anyone help me decide what it is so I can maybe get it back?Took the screenshot from the video.

Model is Asus K55DR

That's a thermal pad, and works like the thermal compound on your CPU to transfer heat. They need to be on the heatsink. If they are missing or badly compressed when you take the GPU off, you need to install new ones.
