I am trying to connect my Sony davs300 amplifier to my lg 42lh 5000 tv using Rca connectors .

Used to have it connected and took apart and can't remember how to put it back together . I only want it for my tv not my cable box . Do I just need the red and white connectors ?

Headphone out of TV to audio input on sony. The cable should have a stereo mini plug at the TV and 2 RCA plugs at the HTS end.
