I highly suggest you get an HDMI cable to connect it to your new TV. Much better picture quality.
Some new TVs share the composite video (yellow RCA) with the component video (3 RCA). The TV manual will tell you which RCA jacks to use and where in the TV menu system you select composite or components. You will still need the additional cable for audio.
