I am trying to decide between Asus and Hp Envy 17

I need a laptop that will work with my embroidery digitizing software for my embroidery business. I have had HP computers for the last several years. I am considering a Asus now but not sure whether to stick with HP or go with Asus

I have owned both HP and ASUS laptops - both are good - what are the minimum requirements for your software?

If you can provide links to particular models you're considering we might provide more constructive advice. ASUS is a solid brand though, they are the leading manufacturer of retail motherboards used by system builders to build custom (home-built) desktops and they actually make a lot of the boards used by other brands too.
