I am trying to get a audio output from my Pansonic dvd player through my pansonic soundbar have connected via aux plugs but still no sound, can anybody help solve this matter. Cheers.

Make sure you have selected the aux input on the soundbar.
Check the DVD player audio menu to make sure that the analog audio output is turned on.
