after a rain my sharp aquos quattron wont turn on power light keeps flashing

Question: "after a rain" - do you mean that the Sharp got wet?

Will another TV work in place of the Sharp?

Could be that something else has gone wrong and that happened just at the same time as the rain.

Check the User Guide/Manual. Find out what the flashing power light may mean. Check the trouble-shooting section.

And try GeRgY's suggestion a couple more times. Maybe hold the power button a bit longer each time.
