i braught a acer laptop yesterday i started it up and from word go it double types every key i press y would this be happernin

when a key is struck on my new laptop it dosnt only type it once but twice every time so instead of just a simple sentence (i like to eat cookies) its (ii lliikkee ttoo eeaatt ccookkiieess) can anyone hepl me please

Hi,

Please do adjust the keyboard setting of your laptop.
- Go to Control Panel and look for Keyboard
- Once in Keyboard there should be a Character Repeat toggle where you can adjust it Long or Short.
- Adjust both Repeat delay and Repeat Rate in the middle and click Apply an OK then try your keyboard again.
