i buy a new battery of hp pavilion notebook pc but the system was show bettery not detected

maine mere system ki new battery purchase ki h aur battery ko system par lagane ke baad bhi
usme battery not detected show kar raha h what did i do?

Couple of things it can be, if you bought a cheap knock-off battery, it may be bad. Or the issue is not with the battery but the motherboard or battery connector.
