I can't get channels using the antenna on my Pro scan tv

I have a pro scan tv that was working perfectly fine. All of a sudden it started saying please run channel auto scan. I've done that, but it's not working. I've even restored the default settings on the tv, and still nothing. I keep getting the msg rather the antenna is plugged up or not.

Is your antenna externally powered? If so, make sure the power supply is working (or simply plugged in properly). You can often tell by touching it. If warm, it is likely working.
