This is the thing i tried installing windows xp media center. So i boot the cd up and everything and when i press enter to format the partition or delete it it says Setup did not find any hard disks on your computer. So i googled this problem because my hdd is not bad i got it checked at a shop. So it was a driver issue so i found the step on how to do it but im having trouble finding the driver for it because when im using a program called nlite to inject the driver in the setup cd it only accepts files that are (Inf). So i searched and searched on google and i couldnt find that type of file so i really would appreciate the help please. If its possible to resolve this issue today it would be awesome.
My computer is a toshiba qosmio G25-AV513.

.inf are driver files. Usually there's a program that will install it or the program will ask you where the inf is and then install, they are not self installing. There should be instructions somewhere how to install it without Windows. Have you tried running the diagnostic/repair software from the mfg web site from a Floppy? Unless it's a SATA drive and you need a SATA driver to recognize the drive, you should not have to install a driver for the drive to be recognized. Is it recognized in the BIOS? If so, check all the drive settings in the BIOS.

well i dont have a floppy. YES its a sata drive how do i get it to recoqnize if i dont need a driver?

During the early part of installing Windows there is a message saying if you have drivers that must be installed hit F6 and when you hit F6 you'll be asked to put in the disk with the drivers. If you need these drivers, they should have come with the laptop possibly on the driver disk. If they just sent you a Restore disk, an image, then you may have to use that. If you have the driver, and sounds like you might, you may be able to install it off a Flash drive or CD, when the F6 comes up. You should be able to remove the Windows CD, inset the one with the driver, install it, and then put the Windows CD in. Never have had to do this, have a Floppy on all my machines. The Toshiba web site should have instructions for doing a clean install of Windows that should address this this.

Im trying to use nlite to inject some sort of file to the xp setup disk so it could recoqnize my hdd. But which file is the inf. please guys help!

I pressed f6 like ten times and inserted the driver disk that came with the laptop. It doesnt work nothing happens i tried both disks and they were the one that came with my laptop and just nothing happens. And in bios they are detected they are 2 60 gig sata drives. I dont know what to do im trying to use nlite but it wants a file called INF. so there is no driver i checked everything toshiba site and googled lots of times can anyone give me this file or i dont know what to do.

Have you tried to change the order of the hdds, i.e., change number 1 to number 2? Do you actually have 2 hdd? Did you get a restore, image, disk with the machine?

Hey man im trying to inject the file with nlite with the page of drivers that you posted the link i hope it helps imna try it.

Yeah i tried that but no it still doesnt work.

It likes like nLite is an imaging software, i.e., you image your hdd that has Windows on it, tweak, and use it instead the Windows CD. If this true, then it won't just install any file. It may not be a driver problem. If you have 2 drives, have you tried just one? Have you tried a different drive?
