I can't Play Mass Effect 3 because it says it can't initialize the physics system. What should I do?

Every time i launch Mass Effect 3 it says it cant initialize the physics system. I originally played ME3 on PS3 back when it first came out. But I recently felt the urge to play it. Now that I have a decent PC that can run it. But it won't launch and I have no idea what to do. I'm not exactly technically savvy...

Did you check for updated video card drivers? Windows all patched? Check for any updates to the game?
