I have tried the 3D TV with its glasses on at best buy and it gave me horrible headaches after a few minutes. It was very weird becuase I really like 3Dmovies and had no problem watching them in the theaters before.

Are there 3D TV/glasses that don’t flickers?

How can I trust they are truly flicker free?

Have you tried passive 3D TVs? Passive technology is the one used in theaters; since you said you were okay with watching 3D movies in theaters, you wouldn’t have any headaches from them like flickering active 3D TVs. Passive 3D TVs don't need to flicker unlike active 3D TV sets because they don't transmitt the electronic signals betweent the TV and glasses. They use lightweight, battery free, and device-free glasses to create 3D effects. I read LG's 3D TVs are certified flicker-free 3D TV, so why don't you try Cinema 3D TV sets at best buy and compare it to the one that you have tried before? See if it works better for you :)
