I wish to watch my Netflix on my Sony Bravia tv, which is connected to my Samsung 4, 10.1 tablet via an hdmi cable, but I get no response, picture, etc. Do you have any suggestions?

My Samsung galaxy 10.1 tablet is connected through the power plug to my Sony Bravia TV via an hdmi cable, but i'm not getting anything on my tv. I want to watch Netflix through my tablet on my tv.
P.S. I purchased the particular HDMI cable, strictly for this purpose.
