I did 70 decline push-ups every day for a week — here’s what happened to my upper body

I always wonder with these challenges
Is there any real benefit or is it simply good for motivation.

Lots of people swear by brushing your teeth on one foot as a basic way of improving ballance, and I suspect push ups through the day might be good for people not training regularly?

But is this not over training if your already doing something that hits the same muscles as part of your normal routine?

Also... What's the antagonistic movement? Doorframe pull-ups?!? Or would under table pull ups be more reasonable? (And less risk to decor?)
