I've too have been thoroughly impressed with my Pixel 9 XL's battery life. I've never been one to worry about it too much. If a phone charge lasted me until I got home or to my vehicle I was satisfied. The XL though has exceeded any expectations I had. I've even made into the next day a couple of times. This is probably my 8th Pixel device & the 1st one that's battery life made me say wow!

For your next trip to Japan just bring a fast GaN charger. Almost everywhere you go eat there's outlets. Even the eating tables at convenience stores have power outlets! Just make sure you don't have your UK style plugs. 10 minutes with your ramen and your phone is back to 80%. Super lightweight and super convenient!
