I have a Toshiba 1.70 I have no nowhere I can put a CD in I'm so confused

yea that's the case because more modern and more budget based laptops/computers do not come with optical drives because its old technology now, and it is cost defective to have one nowadays. you can buy a external one and hook it up to your machine. it will work that way.

what are you trying to read from a cd? most programs can be downloaded online now. the website for the software usually has a digital download.

if you are wanting to hear music, then you will need an external drive or you'll have to stream from one of the many services out there (pandora and the rest...)
