I factory reset my Toshiba laptop and now when I turn it on it comes up saying 'reboot and select proper boot device' any body

Sounds like he did the OS reset some have built into machine. Make sure the BIOS points to your HDD and pull out pen drive and any CD in tray and try to boot the system.

Did you reset the BIOS?? What do u mean by Factory reset?? AFAIK there's no factory reset in a laptop apart from the BIOS. Give complete details of what you've done. Regarding the error your getting, just points to one thing , you don't have an operating system installed in your system or probably you've lost an operating system due to something that you have done.
