It is possible to get a remanufactured Gesture chair for half the price of new. I picked up a remanufactured Steelcase Leap V2 from Crandall for just over $600 and it is really nice.
It would be interesting to have a comparison between a new vs remanufactured version of the same chair.

I have personally used both (Leap refurb and new). Zero difference. In fact, one of those remains in my former office and the other I am sitting in right now.

These are great chairs.
