Your post cut off, you tried to fit the whole thing in the title field not the main body. It's not likely to explode from overheating but too much heat can certainly kill the computer and have it not turn on. In very very rare cases the battery can get damaged and that may start a fire but not really explode unless there is some really bad quality in your computer.
