I have a brand new computer & all of a sudden it won't open any photos on the computer. What's wrong

Have a new Azus gamer computer, hardly been used since Christmas when I got it. Still using my old one till I get time to start using this new one & set it all up. But when taking it away with us last weekend I found it playing up.

Pictures on the compute or viewed in the browser? Are you viewing them in a specific program? Also, what file types?
