i have a iview i896QW laptop and my screen isn't turning on, all it shows is a black screen . How can i get this handled???

My laptop is on but the screen is just showing a black color. And I thought charging it would be okay to fix it but nothing I do to turn it on won't turn on. Is there a solution to this or is it something where I have to return it and get a new one?

how old is it? try connecting to an external monitor even borrowed to see if will post on it.
