I am trying to hook up my blue ray DVD to my plasma TV which only has one HDMI port. A friend gave me a DTA. Can I use that to connect my blue ray , and if so how do I do it?
A DTA is to give your TV access to a limitied number of cable channels with out paying for a cable box. It would not help you to connect the BD player. Just connect the player with an HDMI cable. If you have more HDMI sources than you have inputs you will need an HDMI input switcher. Here is an example http/www.walmart.com/ip/Belkin-4-in-1-Out-HDMI-Switch-Black/24955418
