i have a 10 disk changer can i hook up a amp and a subwoofer. just like that will i work. or do i need a cd player?

You need something to control it, all the changers I had needed remote controls either by a wireless controller or the head unit if your referring to a car audio changer. A home audio changer would only need a Amp.
