i have dell e6400 with sim card slot.. i tried to connect it with my sim card but there is no response with the network. in google i searched but no response for my doubt ... please clarify me for this case alone soon....

If you're trying to stick a SIM card in there, it's obviously not going to work. You have a card reader, but that only extends to SD cards and its various iterations. It does not read SIM cards.
